Kevin Pozzi

Kevin Pozzi is a native of Connecticut but now lives in NH with his wife, three sons, their Golden Retriever, and 2 cats. He has been a physical therapist for more than 20 years working with people of all ages and backgrounds. Pozzi has extensive experience with orthopedic care settings but also has worked in skilled nursing facilities and home care. He has been active with student education nearly his entire career as a clinical instructor as well as an adjunct faculty member at several Doctor of Physical Therapy Programs before joining JWU's new Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
Pozzi graduated from Northeastern University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training, then earned his Master of Science degree from the University of Rhode Island in 2002. Additionally, Pozzi completed an accredited orthopedic residency program in 2011 at the Jackson Clinics in northern Virginia and is board-certified in orthopedics. Finally, he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2015 from the University of Montana.
Pozzi is passionate about physical therapy becoming the access point for musculoskeletal conditions to help reduce healthcare costs and reduce the need for pain medications in society.

Scholarly Interests
Pozzi's research interests include professional Satisfaction and Burnout in healthcare, direct access in physical therapy, as well as research in Throwing athlete care and treatment, including baseball and softball.
