Sophitmanee Sukalakamala is a professor in the College of Hospitality Management at Johnson & Wales University where she has been a faculty member since 2013. Prior to that she worked as an assistant professor in the College of Business at Southern Utah University. She completed her Ph.D. in Hospitality Administration from Texas Tech University, a Master of Science in Food and Nutrition from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Kasetsart University, Thailand.

Sukalakamala's research and publication focus on food consumption behaviors. She specializes in coffee, tea and non-alcoholic beverages. She teaches various courses including coffee, tea and non-alcoholic beverage specialist, sensory analysis and food and beverage technology & application systems. In her time away from teaching, Sukalakamala enjoys traveling to experience new cultures, beautiful landscapes and incredible food and beverages.
