Adam Thomas, PT, DPT, EdD, SCS, ATC, is an Associate Professor in the Physical Therapy Program. He is a Sports Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, with most of his clinical background based within sports physical therapy. He has an extensive clinical background within professional sports and at the international level of sports, notably with the Chicago Cubs, Boston Red Sox and Houston Astros Professional Baseball Organizations as well as the Boston Cannons and Boston Blazers Professional Lacrosse Organizations, Premier Lacrosse League, and Team USA Indoor and Outdoor Lacrosse. He has been involved in teaching within Higher Education since 2005 and has led many educational trips with college students to South Africa, Costa Rica, and China. Currently, his clinical work is with the New England Free Jacks of Major League Rugby as a physical therapist and athletic trainer as well as with the student athletes at JWU.
