JWU Continues to Climb in US News & World Report Best Colleges Rankings

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - September 18, 2023 – Johnson & Wales University again moved up in the U.S. News & World Report’s ranking of the Best Colleges in America, according to the annual report released today. JWU’s Providence Campus is now ranked at number 69 out of 167 schools in the Regional Universities, North category.
Just as notable, the JWU Providence Campus is ranked number 17 in the list of Most Innovative Schools in the Regional Universities, North category - just 26 schools were recognized here. For this designation, U.S. News requested top college officials to identify institutions in their Best Colleges ranking category that are making the most innovative improvements in terms of curriculum, faculty, students, campus life, technology or facilities.
This year, the JWU Providence Campus also rose 10 points in the rankings to 36 out of 73 schools for Best Value for Regional Universities, North, highlighting the university’s academic quality and commitment to offering an affordable education.
