A handful of programs offered by the JWU College of Online Education recently ranked among U.S. News & World Report’s Best Online Programs for 2021.
In a survey of more than 1,200 regionally accredited online programs, U.S. News recognized JWU Online’s business, criminal justice, and MBA programs, as well as ranked the college for having one of the best undergraduate programs for veterans.
The following rankings were highlighted in the announcement:
JWU Online Vice President Cindy Parker, Ed.D. said she is thrilled to see the improvements among this year’s rankings. “The US News & World Report rankings are important indicators of the public’s perception of the quality and success of our online programs, and we remain focused on continuous improvement of our scores year over year.”
Established in 2013 and located at the Providence Campus, the college offers a variety of online programs while providing increased access and flexibility for students across the U.S. and worldwide. The college strives to deliver strategically selected university academic programs in a high-quality online format to working adult professionals.
According to Dean David Cartwright, Ed.D., being ranked among the best by U.S. News is a testament to the hard work that goes into crafting programs for JWU’s online student population. “We recognize the value of these rankings and the impact they have on families when narrowing their choices for an exceptional education,” he said. “I am so proud of the efforts our students, faculty, and staff have put in to make our programs great.”
These accolades come in addition to those the university received in fall 2020 when JWU was recognized by 3 top higher education rankings — U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges Rankings 2021, Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education Rankings 2021 and Money’s Best Colleges 2020.
